Data controller
VoxFolio is currently developed and operated by an individual based in Hungary. Full legal entity details will be published at official launch. For any privacy-related inquiries, please contact hello@voxfolio.app.
What data we process
Your career data — dictations, extracted knowledge, generated CVs — is stored locally on your device. On our server we only keep the Google profile basics needed for sign-in (email, name, picture, language), your subscription tier, and per-call / per-token counters of your LLM usage. We do not store the content of your dictations or the body of your knowledge base on the server.
Processors
To operate the service we rely on third-party AI providers for transient text and audio processing (such as OpenAI, Google, Anthropic), and on cloud providers (such as Vercel, Neon) for hosting and authentication infrastructure. The final list of processors and the details of the data-processing agreements will be published in the finalised document.
Your rights (GDPR)
Under EU data protection law you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. From the app's Settings you can export your local data or delete your account at any time. Formal privacy requests: hello@voxfolio.app.
Security
All network traffic is protected by HTTPS/TLS, and sign-in uses OAuth 2.0. The on-device SQLite database is protected by the operating system's app sandbox. Additional measures (e.g. file-level encryption) are part of the product roadmap.
Status of this document
This notice is a preliminary draft that reflects the current architecture and intent. The legally binding final privacy policy will be published by the official launch date (May 24, 2026). We will notify users of material changes in advance.
